UPDATE (8/4/08): Various unseen factors have been consistently cropping up (including my HD crashing!!) resulting in constant push-backs of the originally schedule launch date of my friend’s eLearning Portal which I am doing the marketing for. The launch should be occurring sometime in the next couple of weeks and as soon as that occurs I will begin posting here on a regular basis.  As a result I’ve removed the Countdown Timer because it’s relevancy has changed, if for no other reason than I can’t seem to get a handle on exactly when this will actually launch which would mean constantly changing the timer end date.

Three days have passed and nothing more has been posted.

My original intention was to post everyday which should have been easy enough to do because there’s a lot going on with getting this product ready to launch in conjunction with documenting the process of how I got here.

Well, the reason for no posts in the past three days is that the actual preparation of this product for the launch is taking up more time than I had originally anticipated. I’m not only marketing it, but I’m also creating many of the bonuses. I realized last night that the Number One thing that’s the most important is getting this product launched on time and there’s still a lot to do with the launch set to occur in less than three weeks, assuming it stays on target. The Countdown Timer includes this time plus the period of time set to promote the product which is four weeks. As a result, I’m suspending any activity on this blog until after the timer has run out. At that point I will consistently post what happened and whether or not the results of the launch met my financial goals.

Here’s a brief description of the product and where you can go to monitor it: A close friend and business partner has had a passion for Internet Security for over 10 yrs. She is a teacher at a popular online education institution. Several years ago she created two major courses on Internet Security, one for beginners and one for advanced. One of the things that always frustrated her about this institution was the time it took to get updates to her courses which is considerably important due to the constant changes that occur in the world of PC and Internet Security. This in conjunction with the fact that if you are not searching the institution’s catalog, which is also available at many colleges around the world, you won’t know that this excellent information exists. She is constantly receiving accolades not just from the general students but also from a variety of professionals some of which are already in this industry. As a result, she is currently finalizing her own online teaching facility that will allow her to market it anyone and everyone AND be able to updated it the instant there is any kind of significant change.

If you’d like to see what this is all about and watch as we prepare the launch, please visit MICE Training & Education. This is the pre-sales page I wrote as a teaser for the upcoming launch. It contains some interesting tidbits about computer security including an incident that happened to me that I was able to not only prevent but also grab some screen shots to document it. Statistics that I’ve been researching is showing that this kind of thing is happening more and more along with stealth techniques being used to infect you while visiting a web site without you ever knowing it happened. The need for EVERY user of a computer to acquire a good solid foundation in PC Security is becoming more and more necessary as these malware attacks continue to evolve making the release of these course even more relevant.

Fundamentally, these courses should be taken by anyone who uses a computer. The variety of ways that not only your PC can be compromised but also your files and personal information are being spied on and/or stolen are changing at an alarming rate. The only way to truly protect yourself is being properly educated. These are serious courses designed to bring each and every student up to speed on the current state of PC and Internet Security. The deal that will be offered during this Grand Opening of her eLearning Portal in conjunction with celebrating the 10th Anniversary of her business will never be offered again. There will also be a course on Identity Theft as part of this package and is being called “The Essential 3″. Once you’ve taken all three of these courses you will be fully armed with enough information to do your part in fighting the Cyber Crimes that result from PC and Internet Security and Identity Theft.

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by today.
